From the moment we arrived, the friendly hosts made us feel right at home, and the welcome drink was a delightful touch that set the festive mood. I particularly enjoyed the exquisite à-la-carte restaurant, where we indulged in sumptuous meals crafted from seasonal, regional products-each dish was a celebration of local flavors! Our classic Biedermeier-style room was the perfect sanctuary, complete with a firm bed and cozy bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep after our explorations of Salzburg and nearby Hallein. The sun terrace offered stunning mountain views, making breakfasts something special, especially as I reveled in the high-quality cheese and freshly baked bread sourced from local farms. For fellow eco-conscious travelers like myself, this gem not only provides a peaceful stay but also embraces sustainable practices. If you're looking to combine relaxation with a bit of adventure, the surrounding area offers skiing and cycling to really enjoy the natural beauty.
